Accessibility
As a cartoonist working with Disabled issues, and having worked in the past on Disability rights and access, I couldn't set out on a cyber project without giving some thought to Web Accessibility. It might not be 100% just yet, but we'll work on it as the site develops.
Access Keys
What are access keys?
Access keys are keyboard shortcuts which allow you to navigate our site without having to use a mouse or other pointing device. They are also known as keyboard shortcuts or, simply, shortcuts. Even if you do use a mouse, access keys can often be quicker when you know them.
Most links on our pages have an Access Key or keyboard shortcut to help you if you don't use a mouse. The lists below show the common keys and those on specific pages. If there is no specific Access Key, as on the Index of News Bulletins, you can use the Tab key to move between links.

How do I use Access Keys?
Using Access Keys depends on the browser you are using.
- For IE4, Mozilla and Netscape 6+, hold down the Alt key, and select the number or letter of the Access Key.
- For IE5+, do the same and then press Enter.
- For IE5+ Mac, do the same but with the Ctrl key instead of the Alt key.
Note: Older browsers do not support Access Keys, and others will be updated as we know them.
Text Resizing
You can also resize the text on any page by using the A | A+ | A++ options, each of which also has an Access Key - 1, 2 and 3 respectively. A is normal and A++ the largest.
