Cartooning Tuition
If you've ever fancied being able to express yourself through cartoons, then this is your opportunity. One of the things that Dave has done in the past is to offer cartooning tuition to both groups and individuals. This has been especially successful with groups and organisations run and controlled by Disabled people, who have used this medium as a way to express a complex idea in a more easily accessible format.
Participants have discovered that cartoons are a useful way to express or communicate the subtleties of a situation, often in a less threatening manner. It also allows people to look at an idea 'through their legs', in other words, looking at it from a different perspective.
Diversity
Dave has worked with a wide diversity of people and has discovered that cartooning is one of the greatest levellers with regard to culture, gender, sexual orientation and age. The photo left is of his granddaughter Sorrell who, after attending one of his workshops, is fast catching him up in the cartooning stakes!
Dave can also arrange for you to visit him whilst he's working down in Spain if you fancy a bit of a holiday at the same time. You'd have to arrange your own flights and car hire, but he can arrange the accommodation side of things for you.
